Playing
One person makes a room and reads out the four-letter code; everybody else types it in. Three to six people can play. There is a full explanation of the rules inside the app, under Settings → How to play.
If something goes wrong
- Somebody's phone drops out. Their seat is kept for a few minutes and the game plays on without them; if it is their turn for too long, the server plays a card for them. They can rejoin with the same code.
- "There is no room with that code." Rooms are not kept for ever — one closes a couple of minutes after the last person leaves, or after half an hour of nothing happening. Make a new one.
- The app says it needs updating. It does: that version can no longer talk to the server. Update it from the App Store.
- A card will not go down. You must follow the suit that was led if you hold it, and the very first card of a game is always the ace of spades.
