Privacy

Bhabi has no accounts, no sign-in, no email, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party trackers. Nothing you do in it is sold, shared or profiled.

On your phone

The app keeps five things on the device itself: a random identifier it generates for itself, the display name you chose, the code of the last room you were in, whether you picked light or dark, and — in development builds only — a server address. Deleting the app deletes all of it. None of it is backed up to us, because there is no us to back it up to.

On the server

While you are in a room, the server holds that random identifier, your display name, and the state of the game in memory so it can deal your cards and keep your seat. There is no database. When a room closes — a couple of minutes after the last person leaves, or half an hour after anything last happened — it is gone, and nothing about it is written down.

The server keeps short-lived operational logs, the sort any server keeps, which record that a room was made or that somebody sat down. A room code and a chosen display name can appear in those. They are not linked to anything else and are not kept for long.

Children

There is nothing to buy, nobody to talk to and nothing to share. The only text anyone can enter is their own display name, which the other players in the room see.
